Consume food rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B-2, Vitamin B-3, Vitamin E and Zinc like milk, fish, eggs, nuts, liver, and fresh leafy green vegetables.

It is also necessary to avoid sunscreen lotions that are oil based. However, you should not avoid the use of sunscreen completely as exposure to the harmful UV rays of the sun may prove to be dangerous for your pimples. You should use a water based UVA/UVB sunscreen with a high SPF or Sun Protection Factor.

You should also take care to avoid milk products and red meat. These food items are not easily digestible and lead to severe acid formation. The waste materials are not discarded easily thereby leading to the formation of acne. Again these products make the level of hormones shoot up and further aggravate acne problems. It is wiser to opt for fat free meat and soymilk or nut milk.

Milk acts as natural cleanser. To avoid the use of soaps, you can soak almonds in milk and apply the paste to clean your face and neck. To stay away from acne, you can also make an herbal facial mask of lemon juice, honey, green clay and yogurt. Another way of preparing the facial mask is to mix the white part of the egg with cornflower, oats, rose water and kaolin.

After you have tried all remedial steps and have also taken care to consume healthy food there is one more thing you should remember. You need to have patience. You should give a minimum of two months’ time for your treatment to prove its effect. There are various effective antibiotics that need quite some time to cure your acne.

It is a well-known fact that acne generally results from both internal problems as well as external problems. Hence the first step to fight acne is to fight internal problems. Maintaining an appropriate and balanced diet can help in fighting such problems. You should ensure that the food you intake has a high level of nutrition in it. Two of the commonly used methods to treat blemish are Dermabrasion and Microdermabrasion. In Dermabrasion, the top layer of the skin is removed by the use of a high speed rotary wire brush or a diamond coated fraise. Microdermabrasion on the other hand blasts tiny crystals on the skin and rubs it using a rough tool. Both these methods are carried out by cosmetic surgeons.

Bacteria, hormones and clogged pores on the skin may lead to the formation of acne. Acne may also be a result of heredity. The action of bacteria and dead skin leads to pimples. When pores get blocked and closed and finally protrude out, whiteheads are formed.
