I have propagated the positive effects of oatmeal on many occasions in the past, and I will proudly state that this wonderful food item can also be used for treating chest acne. Oatmeal can help absorb the excessive oil in your skin and also clean the pores, removing any traces of dirt after you are done cleaning it up. Using oatmeal is also quite simple: all you need to do is cook it up, add a teaspoon of honey and lemon juice into the mix to create a paste, and then apply to your chest area. Just let it dry on your skin for half an hour before rinsing it off with warm water.

 

2. Lemon Juice

The reason why almost every dermatologist recommends lemon juice for a variety of different skin-related problems is simple: lemon contains a very high amount of acid. This helps in cleaning the dirt that gets lodged in the pores for long periods of time. Lemon juice can also be used for clearing out blockages caused by the sebaceous glands and is, therefore, one of the most effective items for chest acne treatment. Just cut open a lemon and apply the juice on the area with acne. It might irritate the skin in the beginning. If the irritation continues to increase, wash off the lemon juice with warm water. However, if it doesn’t irritate the skin at all (most likely), you should just leave the juice on for at least a few hours before washing it off. Moreover, baking soda also contains a few anti-inflammatory properties, which can minimize the number of blackheads and whiteheads on your skin. Just mix a little bit of baking soda in water, or sprinkle a little bit of lemon juice in between. Then, rub the baking soda on the affected area of the skin and leave it there for around 10 minutes. You can then rinse it off.

 

4. Milk, Honey, and Radish Seeds

This is another simple remedy. Take a spoonful of radish seeds and mix them with one tablespoon of milk and honey, preferably raw honey for acne. You can also use a blender in order to create a thick paste. The thick paste can then be applied on the acne-affected region. Leave it on the skin for at least two hours. It will become dry and hard after a while. You need to wash it with cool water. After washing it off, remember to apply an oil-free moisturizer to the region.
